GradU8 Interactive Seminars

Students and graduates know better than anyone just how useful seminars can be when it comes to learning and discussing new ideas. After all, a large part of the university timetable is taken up with them. So, wouldn’t it be useful if you could go to seminars that would help you with your job hunt, too?

Well… this is the aim of GradU8, which is an upcoming online event that is designed to bring together students, graduates and graduate employers in one virtual meeting place. This event will be running from 7th – 10th November 2011 and it is completely free to register and taken part in. The purpose of GradU8 is to act as something of an online careers fair, giving young jobseekers the chance to talk to employers about their graduate training schemes and potential job prospects.

As well as all this, GradU8 will also be putting on one live seminar each day over the course of the careers fair. This will take place online so you don’t even have to worry about getting to an event venue to take part, as you can do it all from the comfort of your own computer (as long as it has a internet connection). You can make sure you don’t miss the seminars you want to attend by adding them to your online planner. You can also catch up with the highlights after the event so you won’t miss anything important.

These seminars will be hosted by representatives of companies exhibiting at GradU8 such as National Audit Office, Santander, National Graduate Development Programme and many more. This means they are a great way to find out more about graduate training schemes and the different opportunities that are open to you. If you have a burning question to ask about graduate training schemes or what employers look out for when they’re recruiting, this could be your perfect opportunity to ask.

With GradU8 fast approaching, why not sign up for the event now so you know you won’t miss out on this wealth of valuable information?
